 Continuous Gas
Flow Monitoring System
The
CleanAir/EMRC Gas Flow Monitoring System uses the time proven pitot and differential pressure technology.
This system is capable of accurately measuring gas flow from ~5 - 900 ft/sec and
temperatures up to ~1600°C.
All CleanAir/EMRC Gas Flow systems are custom-engineered
to match each gas flow stream condition.
The CE Marked
CleanAir/EMRC Gas Flow Monitor includes an in situ flow sensor utilizing
a variety of designs and materials (appropriate metallurgy/ceramic, etc.)
to fit a large variety of flow measurement applications.
Other subsystems
including pressure signal conditioning interface, differential pressure
transducer and temperature measurement subsystem (Type K thermocouple
or RTD) and a primary reference and pressure auto-calibration subsystem
(also available for the Type K thermocouple transmitter).
The CleanAir/EMRC instrument
package is located off-stack allowing for ease of maintenance and control.
Off-stack instrumentation is packaged routinely in indoor and/or outdoor
cabinetry, although it is preferable to locate instrumentation in a thermally
controlled instrument/control room for ease of maintenance and enhanced
performance.
The
most advantageous aspect of the CleanAir/EMRC design is its simplicity of installation
and maintenance. The resultant advantages are:

Using signals from the other continuous emission monitors for the concentration of
a pollutant such as SO2, NO/NOx, CO2 or particulate a real
time calculation of mass flow can be determined.
